About Find Support UK

Find Support UK is an independent, UK-wide directory and support platform for SEND services, helping families, individuals, and professionals find trusted support across areas such as autism, ADHD, EHCP guidance, therapy services, and family support.

Designed as a human-led directory evolving into a structured support platform, Find Support UK brings clarity, transparency, and organisation to a system that is often complex and difficult to navigate.

Why Find Support UK Exists

Find Support UK was created from lived experience.

I am the founder of this platform, but first and foremost, I am a father navigating the realities of the SEND system alongside my family. Like many others, we have experienced different pathways—our eldest is currently progressing through the NHS Right to Choose (RTC) pathway, while our youngest received a private diagnosis.

Through this journey, we also encountered something increasingly recognised within the neurodivergent community: major life stages, including pregnancy and early parenthood, can lead to the “unmasking” of autistic traits in adults. This led to my wife identifying her own neurodivergent profile—highlighting what many families come to understand over time: neurodiversity is often a shared, family-wide experience.

Find Support UK exists to make that journey clearer, more structured, and less isolating for others.

How Listings Are Reviewed

Listings are reviewed using a structured process, with additional checks applied where a provider is claimed, updated or verified.

  • Manual review: All listings are checked for clarity and factual accuracy before publication
  • Registry cross-checking: Where relevant, providers are cross-referenced against professional bodies such as the CQC, GMC, and HCPC
  • Provider verification: Listings marked as Verified have been claimed and confirmed by the provider
  • Ongoing review: Listings can be updated, claimed, or flagged to ensure information remains current

This structured approach provides a more reliable alternative to fully automated directories.

Find Support UK does not rate, rank, or recommend services.

Instead, we provide structured, accurate information so you can make informed decisions based on your individual needs, circumstances, and location.
