Find Support UK is a public directory designed to help individuals, families, carers, and professionals find reliable support across the UK.
To maintain trust, accuracy, and safety, all listings must follow the rules below.
Who Can Be Listed
Listings are accepted for organisations or practitioners that provide legitimate support, including (but not limited to):
- Autism support services
- ADHD support services
- SEND education & EHCP support
- Therapy services (e.g. speech & language, occupational therapy)
- Mental health & wellbeing support
- Family, parent, and carer support
- Community and voluntary sector services
Both UK-wide and local services are welcome.
By submitting or maintaining a listing on Find Support UK, you agree to comply with these rules and guidelines.
Minimum Listing Requirements
Every listing must include:
- ✅ A clear service or organisation name
- ✅ At least one relevant category
- ✅ A written description explaining what support is offered
- ✅ A valid UK location or clear indication that the service is online / national
- ✅ At least one contact method (telephone, email, or website)
Listings missing required information may be rejected or removed.
Website & Contact Information
- Website links must be valid and functional
- Websites should represent the listed service directly
- Redirects, spam links, or unrelated pages are not allowed
- Contact details must belong to the support provider listed
We may remove or correct contact details that appear misleading or unsafe.
Accuracy & Honesty
Listings must:
- Accurately describe services offered
- Avoid exaggerated or misleading claims
- Not imply diagnoses, guarantees, or outcomes that cannot be supported
Find Support UK does not verify clinical claims. Responsibility for accuracy remains with the support provider.
Professional Standards & Registration
Where applicable, listings should clearly state:
- Professional registrations or accreditations
- Relevant governing bodies or memberships
False claims of registration or accreditation will result in removal.
Prohibited Content
The following are not permitted:
- ❌ Hate speech, discrimination, or harmful language
- ❌ Exploitative, abusive, or unsafe services
- ❌ Unlicensed medical or therapeutic claims
- ❌ Adult-only, illegal, or inappropriate content
- ❌ Pure advertising pages with no genuine support offering
Find Support UK reserves the right to remove listings that may place users at risk.
Duplicate & Low-Quality Listings
- Duplicate listings for the same service may be merged or removed
- Low-quality listings (very short, unclear, or empty descriptions) may be rejected
- Listings created solely for SEO or backlink purposes are not permitted
Moderation & Review
- All listings may be reviewed or edited for clarity and consistency
- We may request clarification or updates from listing owners
- Listings may be unpublished if they no longer meet these guidelines
Find Support UK reserves final discretion over what appears in the directory.
We reserve the right to request clarification or evidence where necessary to ensure information is accurate and clear.
Reviews & Community Feedback
Where reviews are enabled:
- Reviews must be honest, respectful, and relevant
- Abuse, defamation, or false claims are not allowed
- We may moderate or remove reviews that breach these standards
